OVERVIEW

This website is operated by Magpie Mail Club. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Magpie Mail Club. Magpie Mail Club offers this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing a subscription from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink (such as our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy).

SECTION 1 - SUBSCRIPTION TERMS AND AUTOMATIC RENEWAL

By purchasing a monthly subscription to Magpie Mail Club, you acknowledge that your subscription has an initial and recurring payment feature and you accept responsibility for all recurring charges prior to cancellation.

Your subscription will automatically renew for successive monthly periods, and your payment method will automatically be charged the subscription rate in effect at the time of renewal on your specific billing date each month.

Shipping Schedule We are a monthly subscription service and ship our letters in a single batch once per month. All letters generally ship around the 1st of each month.

If you subscribe after the 1st of the month, you will not receive a letter until the following month.

Billing Schedule: Billing occurs on the 25th of the month prior to the letter being mailed. If you signed up during the month (Between the 2nd and the 25th) you will not be charge again in that month prior to receiving your first letter.

SECTION 2 - CANCELLATION POLICY

You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time.

To avoid being charged for the next month's letter, you must cancel your subscription before your next scheduled billing date. You can do this easily by logging into your customer portal on our website or by emailing us at Archivist@magpiemailclub.com.

If you cancel your subscription after your payment has already been processed for the current month, you will receive that final letter, and your cancellation will become effective for the following month. We do not provide prorated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations.

SECTION 3 - PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

The core of our Service is a monthly curated letter and a small "trinket" or found object.

  • Nature of Goods: The letters are original creative works intended for entertainment and nostalgic purposes. The accompanying trinkets are curated "found objects," replicas, or small items chosen to enhance the story. They are generally not antique, precious, or of significant monetary value unless explicitly stated.

     

  • Availability: We reserve the right to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region, or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis.

     

SECTION 4 - BILLING, SHIPPING, AND DELIVERY

 

Our practices regarding the shipping of your letters, including estimated delivery times and the handling of international customs and duties, are governed by our separate Shipping Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

 

SECTION 5 - REFUNDS AND RETURNS

Due to the curated, time-sensitive nature of our monthly mailings, we generally do not accept returns or offer refunds on letters that have already shipped. Our policy regarding replacements for damaged items is covered in our separate Refund Policy.

SECTION 6 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The content of the letters sent by Magpie Mail Club is the creative intellectual property of Magpie Mail Club. Subscribing gives you ownership of the physical piece of paper and the trinket, but not the right to reproduce, distribute, publish, or digitally share the full text of the letters for commercial purposes without our express written permission.

SECTION 7 - PERSONAL INFORMATION

Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy.

SECTION 8 - GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, United States.

SECTION 9 - CHANGES TO TERMS OF SERVICE

You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
